1. PROGRAM OVERVIEW
1.1. Introduction
This program is developed to make student understand the foundations of Christian studies. The degree is intended to give students a basic understanding of theology and religious sciences. It is a specialized degree in theology. Students will gain knowledge in theory and practical in the fields of theology, Biblical studies, ministry, linguistics etc. The B.Th. program will help students to develop understanding and meaning of the biblical texts, the historical development of Christianity throughout the ages. Moreover students will be able to apply these Biblical truths effectively in their life and down with the down to earth realities of earth and ministerial needs. This program will enable student to show ministerial potential effectively in the field pastoral and teaching ministries. It will boost the confidence in the student to interpret scriptures confidently. Student will develop understanding of the Christian faith, doctrines. The Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) is a 120 credit hour undergraduate degree. The program is ideal for students preparing to work in pastoral ministry.

Note: RTS offers a duration of 3 years to complete the degree but in case of course drop by the student, the length of degree will be extended but the maximum allowed limit is 10 years to complete the course work.
