1- Master of Divinity (M.Div.):
1. PROGRAM OVERVIEW
1.1. Introduction
This program is of three years especially structured to educate and prepare Christian men and women to serve the lord and humanity as an ordained minister. The idea of this program is to join criticism and real life practical approach. Contextualization of the theology is one of the main theme. Student writes academic paper and defends theological commitments. The program is designed to build a mature inner person having Self-awareness and to do capacity building to lead in the fields even other than church and community related to social sectors. The RTS Master of Divinity program provides a free environment to understand the Christian faith, Gospel and tenderly understanding the other religious traditions. In this program students are made to realize the urgency and importance of good news to the poor, needy and lost sheep. RTS is offering 96 credit hours in the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) program.

Note: RTS offers a duration of 3 years to complete the degree but, in case if the course is dropped by the student, the length of the degree will be extended, but the maximum allowed limit is 10 years to complete the course work.
2. PROGRAM GOALS/OUTCOMES
2.1 Educational Goals
At the conclusion of the RTS M.Div. program, a student will be able:
- to master the foundations of theological disciplines and will gain an understanding of different methods of interpretation and apply such knowledge in daily life.
- to communicate and build relations with the different cultural contexts.
- to demonstrate integrity as one professes his faith in real life through spiritual obligations, and practices with spirit-filled wisdom.
2.2 Spiritual Goals
- The student will be able to understand the value of equal love with God and humanity and to value the anointing and bearing of the fruits of spirit along with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
- The student will be able to understand the value of being spiritual both in a personal capacity and at the ministerial level.
2.3 Ministry Goals
The Student will be able
- To transfer the true meaning of the Bible into the hearts of the seeker effectively.
- To show oneself skilled in different ministerial tasks assigned.
- To become an effective Biblical expositor, evangelist and true servant hear missional leader.
3. PROGRAM OUTCOMES
- Developing Critical Approach
Students will be able to show Biblical Knowledge, Biblical history, and interpretation Demonstrate knowledge of the Bible; knowledge of its history, tradition, and methods of interpretation, and its application in the current crisis and chances.
• Students will be able to take contextual challenges and issues in a responsible manner.

• Student will be able to show ability in pastoral care to the communities and individuals.
Admission Criteria:
- Successful completion of any Bachelor level degree for entry into 90-credit M.Div. programs, and a Bachelor of Theology (or equivalent) for entry into 60-credit M.Div programs.
(ii) In special cases, mature candidates (30 and above) who have not completed a Bachelor’s degree may be admitted upon successful completion of a qualifying assessment at Bachelor’s level.
Faculty Requirements at RTS:
(i) Qualification – Research doctorate (e.g. Ph.D. and Th.D., Ed.D.) in their area of specialization, and ideally some training in education and adult learning.
(ii) Consideration may be given to persons with an MTh degree or professional doctoral qualifications who have demonstrated abilities in teaching and with five to ten years of teaching experience.
(iii) For online programs at this level, alongside a specialized lead educator, an online facilitator may also be present, who should have completed studies at or above the level that they are facilitating, or demonstrate a similar level of learning and mature teacher-student ratio ought to be at least 1:12.
(v) Teaching load – 10 hours per week
Graduation Requirements:
The student passes an assessment of his or her achievement of the graduate profile for this award, including:
- Successful completion of 60 credit units for theological Bachelor degree holders with a GPA of B or above.
- Successful completion of 90 credit units for non-theological Bachelor degree holders.
- Ministry involvement that meets set requirements, field work.
(iv) Character and spiritual development that meets set requirements/ standards.
